Vermicelli Kheer / Sevaiyan Kheer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vermicelli / Sevaiyan
  • 500 ml milk
  • sugar
  • butter
  • cashew nits & almonds
  • pistachio nuts / pista
  • coconut / naarial khopra (grated)
  • 3 cloves
  • green cardamom / elaichi
  • Chironji / cuddapah almond
  • kesar/ Saffron


Directions

  • Heat ghee in a pan and add cloves, elaichi and chironji.
  • Now add vermicelli and fry till they become golden brown.
  • Add milk and boil it.
  • Add grated khopra and sugar according to your taste and stir well.
  • Boil it for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add cashew nuts, almonds, pista and saffron. Mix well.
  • Serve immediately... !!!
