Veg Lollipop

Ingredients

  • Boiled potatoes
  • chopped cabbage, cauliflower
  • finely chopped carrot
  • chopped onions
  • frozen green peas
  • chopped coriander leaves
  • ginger garlic paste
  • Corn flour
  • Maida/ All purpose flour
  • green chilies
  • Icecream stick/ bread stick/ toothpick
  • spices (cumin seed powder, chili powder)
  • oil

Directions

  • Smash the boiled potatoes, add salt and veggies. Mix well and keep it aside for 10 minutes
  • now squeeze the excess water from the mixture.
  • Add Corn flour, maida, ginger garlic paste, and spices. Mix well. You can also add fennel seeds.
  • Make oval shaped balls and insert icecream stick in each ball.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these balls till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce and chutney.
