Tawa Roti Sandwich

Roti or chapati are Indian breads that are prepared in almost all Indian houses on a regular basis. Made with whole grain especially wheat, roti is a healthy and staple Indian diet dish.
As rotis are made with whole grains, it is very easy to digest the Indian bread.

 Believe it or not, you can make numerous dishes by using leftover/fresh chapatis.
"Roti Sandwich" - one of the healthiest dish you can serve to your kids.



INGREDIENTS

3-4 Roti/ chapati
1 capsicum (chopped)
1 onion (chopped)
boiled corn
boiled potatoes(mashed)
chaat masala
black pepper
oregano
Mozzarella cheese (grated)
butter 1 tbsp
salt

DIRECTIONS

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chopped vegetables for a minute, that is till slightly tender. Add corns, mashed potatoes, chaat masala and salt.
Place the roti  onto the hot tawa and spread the mixture over it and add grated cheese and black pepper. Cover this by another chapati and repeat this procedure twice.
Apply butter and let it cook for  few seconds.  flip again and apply butter to the other surface.
Press on the edges with a spatula and cook till both the sides are well cooked.
Serve hot with ketchup.
