Happy Holi Everyone Why always Thandayi, try something different. Petha Malayi & Rose Petha Shake Ingredients  Petha - 4 slices Milk - 2.5 cup Rooh-Afza - 1 tbsp Custard powder - 1 tbsp pinch of cardamon powder chopped almonds and cashew nuts Directions  For Rose Petha Shake grate 2 pethas and add 1 tbsp rooh-afza. Give it a good mix. Later add 1 cup milk, chopped almonds and cashews and pinch of cardamon powder. Serve Chilled. For Malayi Petha boil 1 cup of milk and add 1 tbsp sugar. Take 1/4 cup of warm milk and add 1 tbsp of custard powder and mix well. There should be no lumps. Later add this to the boiling milk and stir till it thickens. Cool Completely and refrigerate for 1 hour. Now take a glass and add this custard milk, add grated petha and mix well. Garnish it with chopped almonds and cashew nuts.

Ingredients Soaked Sabudana  (for 4-5 hour)- 2.5 cup Sliced Boiled potatoes - 2  Raw crushed peanuts -  Ghee - 2tbsp Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp Chopped green chillies - 2 Red Chili powder - 1 tsp Salt / Sendha Namak / Rock Salt Chopped Coriander Leaves Lemon Juice (optional) Directions In a Kadhai, add 2 tbsp ghee, 1 tsp cumin seeds, chopped red chilli and sliced boiled potatoes. Saute till it becomes red and Crisp. Later add raw crushed peanuts and give it a good mix. Add 1 tsp red chilli powder and 2.5 cup of soaked Sabudana. Mix well and add salt, lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves. Serve Hot with Curd and enjoy !!! DO NOT ADD A SINGLE DROP OF WATER

It is quite simple and can be prepared in minutes. Let us look at the Ingredients Ingredients Morde Pack of Milk Compound - 1 block Morde Pack of Dark Compound - 1 block Chocolate Moulds / Ice tray Directions Finely Chop the Chocolate compounds so that it melts quickly. Now Take a heatproof Container (I've used Borosil glass bowl) and add both these compounds. Give it a good mix. Take a pan and add half cup of water. Now place the bowl in such a way that water DOES NOT  touch the bottom of the bowl. Chocolate will start to melt. You need to stir continuously breaking lumps or residues. Shahi Tukda - a popular hyderabadi special sweet is a royal dessert. I have prepared this dessert with zero oil or ghee in microwave. Preparation time of this dessert is just 20 minutes. Now let us look at the Ingredients INGREDIENTS 3 Bread Slices 1/2 Cup Sugar 1 Cup Water 1 tsp Cardamon Powder 1 tbsp Milk (for purification) Desiccated Coconut DIRECTION Cut the bread into 2 equal halves. Now toast them in microwave for 6-8 minutes in grill mode. (every microwave functions differently thus set time accordingly) You can also toast them in Toaster or on gas. As soon as it turns brown and crisp keep them aside. Mix 1 cup of water with 1/2 cup of sugar in a pan. Keep the sugar solution on a low heat. One of the favorite dishes from Indian Chinese cuisine is Chilli Paneer. This Chilli Paneer recipe gives restaurant style taste and flavor.  Chilli paneer is my all time favorite, i make it quite often..I have posted it before in this blog, that is a little variation of this recipe.   Quickly Look at the Ingredients Ingredients Paneer Cubes / Cottage Cheese - 200 gm Ginger-chili-garlic (finely chopped)  Cubed Onions - 2 Cubed Capsicum - 2 All purpose flour / Maida - 3 tbsp Cornflour - 2 tbsp Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Tomato Sauce - 1 tbsp Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp Black pepper Salt Oil Spring Onions (for garnishing) Directions In a bowl add 3 tbsp all purpose flour/maida, 2 tbsp cornflour , red chili powder and salt.
