Chilli Paneer | Restaurant Style Chilli Paneer Recipe | Dry Chilli Paneer

One of the favorite dishes from Indian Chinese cuisine is Chilli Paneer. This Chilli Paneer recipe gives restaurant style taste and flavor. 

Chilli paneer is my all time favorite, i make it quite often..I have posted it before in this blog, that is a little variation of this recipe. 









Quickly Look at the Ingredients

Ingredients

  • Paneer Cubes / Cottage Cheese - 200 gm
  • Ginger-chili-garlic (finely chopped) 
  • Cubed Onions - 2
  • Cubed Capsicum - 2
  • All purpose flour / Maida - 3 tbsp
  • Cornflour - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Tomato Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Spring Onions (for garnishing)

Directions

  • In a bowl add 3 tbsp all purpose flour/maida, 2 tbsp cornflour , red chili powder and salt. Give it a good mix. Now add water in steps to form a thick paste.
  • Add 200 gm Paneer cubes and coat well. 
  • Heat oil and carefully drop these Paneer cubes one by one. Deep fry them in medium hot oil.
  • For gravy take a pan and add 3 tbsp oil, finely chopped ginger garlic chili (main ingredient) , cubed onion and capsicum and saute for 2 minutes. Now add 1 tbsp tomato sauce, 2 tbsp soy sauce and mix well. Add Paneer cubes and give it a good mix. Lastly add 1/2 cup water and remaining cornflour mixture. Cook for 2 more minutes and serve Hot. Garnish it with Spring onions.
